Chromebook Case Policy:

  • All student devices should always have their district-purchased gum drop protective case adhered to the district-issued Chromebook.

  • Under no circumstances should this protective covering be removed from the device unless it is being triaged by the technology dept.

  • It is imperative the case remains attached to the device for warranty purposes and overall protection of the Chromebook.

  • If a device is damaged and does not have the protective case, the student may be liable for the repairs as the warranty could be voided.

  • Protective coverings should not be vandalized in any way to compromise their integrity of protection.

  • Students who damage their protective cases are subject for the cost of replacing them.

  • Always handle your device with care. Avoid dropping, tossing, or stacking heavy objects on your device.

  • Always keep food and drinks away from your device to prevent spills.

By following these simple steps, you can help extend the life of your device and ensure that it remains a reliable tool for learning. Thank you for your cooperation!
